Gudermes Map Poster & Print
Gudermes is the second-largest town in Chechnya, located east of Grozny on the flat plain north of the Caucasus foothills. On a map, the railway is the defining feature. Several lines meet at the station, and the town is arranged around the tracks, with residential streets on both sides and the Sunzha River running close by.
The town grew as a railway junction on the route between Rostov and Baku, and it remains an important transport point in the region. In recent years, large parts of the town have been rebuilt and new districts added, and they appear as regular, planned blocks next to older, more irregular streets.
A Gudermes map poster shows the contrast between the strong lines of the railway and the calmer street network around it. The river adds a curving element, and the open plain around the town gives the composition space. It is a map with a clear structure and an easily recognisable centre.

Sunzha River
The river runs near the town, adding a curving natural line to a map otherwise dominated by straight tracks and roads.
New districts
Recently built neighbourhoods appear as orderly blocks of similar size, a clear contrast to the older streets closer to the station.
