Ibimirim Map Poster & Print
Ibimirim lies in the semi-arid sertão of Pernambuco, in the valley of the Moxotó river. The most prominent feature on the map is the Poço da Cruz reservoir nearby, one of the largest in the state, which spreads across the dry landscape with an irregular, branching outline.
The town is compact, with a modest grid of blocks around its centre and roads leading out across the caatinga scrubland. Beyond the reservoir and the town, lines become sparse, and the open backlands take up most of the page. Parts of the Catimbau National Park lie in the wider area.
An Ibimirim map poster balances water and dry land in a way that feels unusual for the sertão. It is a personal piece for people from the town, including the many families who have moved to Recife and southern Brazil.

For families from Ibimirim, a map of the town and its reservoir is a reminder of home in the sertão, wherever they now live. Its strong shapes suit a simple, modern wall.
Add a title, subtitle and coordinates line and choose between five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Sand works especially well for the dry landscape.
