Palm groves
Irrigated date plantations form soft, irregular patches around the settlements. They trace where water reaches the land through the traditional falaj channels.

Ibrā’ Map Poster & Print
Ibrā’ lies in Oman's Sharqiyah region, between the Hajar Mountains and the sands further south and east. It is one of the country's older towns. From above you can see the logic of an oasis: dark green date plantations fed by falaj channels, a wadi bed winding through, and settlements gathered on the drier ground beside them.
The town has old quarters of traditional mud-brick houses, some now crumbling and others restored, and they contrast with the wider streets and roundabouts of newer districts. Ibrā’ is also known for its weekly market, including a women's souq that has become one of the town's best-known traditions.
An Ibrā’ map poster shows these layers side by side: the organic outline of palm groves and old lanes next to the planned modern roads. In print, the wadi and the curve of the oasis give the design a natural shape that feels quite unlike a typical city grid.

Wadi course
A dry riverbed winds past the town. Its meandering line on the map shows the route water takes through the valley after rare rains.
Old quarters
Historic mud-brick neighbourhoods keep a tight, irregular street pattern, which stands in clear contrast to the broad roads of the newer town.
