Ikungi Map Poster & Print
Ikungi is the headquarters of Ikungi District in Tanzania's Singida Region, on the central plateau. On a map, it's a modest settlement along a main road, with smaller tracks leading into the surrounding countryside and to scattered villages.
The central plateau is wide and fairly dry, with farmland, grazing land and seasonal watercourses spread across it. Rocky outcrops and low hills appear in places, and settlements are spaced out along the roads that connect them to Singida and the rest of the region.
