Iskandar Puteri Map Poster & Print
Iskandar Puteri is one of Malaysia's newest cities, built mostly in the twenty-first century on the southwestern tip of Johor. Known as Nusajaya until 2017, when it gained city status and its current name, it stretches along the Strait of Johor opposite Singapore. On a map it looks clearly planned, with wide looping roads, large self-contained districts and generous green space between them.
Kota Iskandar, the administrative centre of the Johor state government, sits near the coast in a formal arrangement of government buildings and axial roads. Nearby, Puteri Harbour forms a marina basin cut into the shoreline. To the west, the Second Link crosses the strait to Singapore, drawing a long straight line over the water toward the island's western edge.
Other districts include EduCity, a cluster of international university campuses, and the area around Legoland Malaysia, which opened in 2012. An Iskandar Puteri map poster shows a city still taking shape. It has curving highways, new housing estates, mangrove-lined estuaries and a coastline reshaped for harbours and waterfront development.

Puteri Harbour
A marina basin set into the coastline near the administrative centre. Its geometric edges stand out clearly against the natural curve of the strait.
Planned road loops
Broad, curving highways and roundabouts link separate districts, giving the map a distinctly modern pattern quite unlike the dense grids of older Malaysian towns.

Many people have moved to Iskandar Puteri only recently, for work, study or a new home near the border. A map of the city records it at this moment of growth, and the picture will look different in a few years.
