Hillside centre
The old centre follows the uneven ground, so blocks are irregular and streets bend and climb. It forms a dense, textured core in the middle of the map.

Itapecerica Map Poster & Print
Itapecerica lies in west-central Minas Gerais, in the rolling country that stretches between the state's old gold region and its farming interior. It is one of the region's older towns. Its centre grew on uneven ground, and the streets rise and fall with the land, turning where the slopes demand.
From above, the historic core is a small, dense cluster of irregular blocks, with churches and squares marking the key points. Newer neighbourhoods spread outward along the main roads. Beyond them, the land opens into pastures, streams and wooded hills, crossed by rural roads that link the town to farms and villages.
An Itapecerica map poster shows a settlement shaped by terrain rather than by a planner's grid. The streets are tightly packed in the middle and loosen toward the edges, and the whole town sits inside a wide frame of green, hilly countryside typical of the Minas interior.

Radiating roads
Main roads leave the town in several directions, and newer neighbourhoods have grown along them. They give the map a loose star-like outline.
Minas countryside
Pastures, streams and wooded hills surround the town and fill the poster's outer edges with a calm, rural pattern.

For people from Itapecerica, and for families who have spread from the Minas interior to other places, the town's winding centre is a strong link to home. A map keeps that link in a clean, simple form.
