Jaíba Map Poster & Print
Jaíba lies in the north of Minas Gerais, in the semi-arid region near the São Francisco River. The town is best known for the Jaíba irrigation project, a large-scale scheme that carries water from the river to farmland across the surrounding plains. It is often cited as one of the largest irrigated areas in Latin America.
From above, the irrigation project changes the landscape completely. Canals and service roads divide the land into regular plots, producing a precise geometric pattern that stands out against the scrubland around it. The town itself is a modest grid of streets set within this engineered countryside.
A Jaíba map poster makes the most of this contrast. A compact urban centre sits among long canal lines and a repeated grid of irrigated fields. Few small towns produce such a graphic, almost architectural map. It is a strong choice for anyone drawn to landscapes shaped by water and planning.

For people who work the irrigated land or grew up in northern Minas Gerais, the map shows how water turned dry plains into farmland. It is also a striking graphic piece for a modern interior.
The title, the subtitle and the coordinates line can be personalised, so the print can mark a place or a date. Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
