Bay shoreline
The bay forms a wide, smooth curve that frames the entire composition. Its open water becomes a large area of empty space, drawing the eye to the town's edge.

Juan Griego Map Poster & Print
Juan Griego lies on the northern coast of Isla Margarita, in Venezuela's Nueva Esparta state. The town wraps around a sheltered bay, and from above its shape is set almost entirely by the water: a curved shoreline, a strip of beach where fishing boats rest, and streets that climb back from the sand toward the drier hills behind.
Above the bay stands the Fortín de La Galera, a small fortification from the independence era, and its hilltop is where many visitors go at the end of the day, since the town is widely known for its sunsets over the water. On the map the fort's hill is a quiet rise at the edge of the bay, with streets bending around it.
A Juan Griego map poster keeps that relationship between hill, bay and town in fine line: the short blocks near the waterfront, the roads heading inland toward the rest of the island, and the long, calm arc of the shoreline. It is a map shaped as much by the sea as by anything built on land.

Fortín de La Galera
The small fort sits on a hill above the bay. On the map, its high ground marks the point where the streets end and the headland begins.
Waterfront blocks
Short, regular streets line the beach, the densest part of town, where fishing, shops and everyday life in Juan Griego have long been concentrated.
