Kalianget Map Poster & Print
Kalianget lies on the southeastern coast of Madura, near Sumenep in East Java. Its map is shaped by the sea and by salt. The town's streets cluster near the shore and the harbour, while large areas nearby are divided into rectangular salt ponds, a grid of shallow basins that looks almost like a second street plan laid across the coast.
Salt production has long been central to Madura's economy, and Kalianget is one of its best-known salt towns, with a history of salt works reaching back to the colonial period. The harbour also connects eastern Madura with the smaller islands scattered further east in the Java Sea.
A Kalianget map poster brings these elements together: the irregular town streets, the precise geometry of the salt pans and the open water beyond. It is a coastal map where industry and landscape have produced a pattern of real graphic strength.

The harbour
The port gives the town its outward-facing edge and links eastern Madura with the smaller islands further east.
Coastal streets
The town's lanes run close to the shore, creating a denser, more irregular texture beside the ordered salt fields.

The poster appeals to people from Madura and to anyone drawn by the unusual beauty of salt-pan landscapes. Its mix of grids and coastline gives it a striking, almost abstract quality.
Set your own title and subtitle, perhaps with a family name or a year, and keep or change the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Paper suits the salt fields.
