Kampong Pasir Ris Map Poster & Print
Pasir Ris occupies the north-eastern coast of Singapore, facing the water that separates the island from Johor and Pulau Ubin. From above, it is a planned town of the kind Singapore does well: public housing blocks arranged in neat clusters, curving estate roads, and a clear central spine that leads to the MRT station and the town centre.
The name recalls the fishing villages and coconut plantations that once lined this coast. Today the area is best known for Pasir Ris Park, a long stretch of beach and greenery along the shore that includes a protected patch of mangrove forest with boardwalks. The station is the eastern end of the East West MRT line.
A Pasir Ris map poster sets the orderly rhythm of housing estates against the looser edge of the coastline and park. Small rivers and canals wind through the town to the sea, and the shore curves across the top of the frame. It is a clear, calm picture of everyday life in a Singapore town.

Estate clusters
Public housing blocks form repeated, carefully planned groups around shared spaces, which gives the residential areas a regular and even texture.
Line’s eastern end
The MRT station at the end of the East West Line marks the town centre, and the main roads and walkways lead towards it.
