Kasamwa lies in the Geita Region of north-western Tanzania, the inland country that runs south of Lake Victoria. Seen from above, it looks like a loose settlement more than a dense town. A handful of main roads carry most of the movement, and a mesh of smaller tracks branches off them between houses, plots and open ground.
