Town centre
The oldest streets form a close cluster of lanes and small blocks. It is the densest part of the poster and draws the eye straight to the middle of the frame.

Kodoli Map Poster & Print
Kodoli is a town in the Kolhapur district of southern Maharashtra, and from above it looks like many settlements in this fertile belt. A dense centre of small plots and narrow lanes sits at a junction of country roads, and the built area loosens quickly into farmland. The fields around it form a patchwork of long, irregular parcels, divided by tracks and small watercourses.
This part of Maharashtra is known for sugarcane and for the cooperative sugar industry that grew up around it. On a map that shows up as open, cultivated land surrounding the town, with the road network set by farm access more than by any grid.
A Kodoli map poster keeps things simple: the tight core, the roads leading out and the texture of the fields around them. Drawn in black and white, a small agricultural town becomes a clear, balanced composition, closer to a drawing than a road map. It suits anyone with a family connection to the area.

Country road junction
Several roads meet at Kodoli and head off toward neighbouring villages and towns. Their lines give the map its structure and direction.
Cultivated land
Farm plots and tracks surround the town on every side. In the poster they form a fine, irregular pattern that sets off the denser centre.

For people who grew up in Kodoli or whose families farm nearby, a map of the town is a way to keep those streets close. It works just as well in a new home in Pune or Mumbai as it does abroad.
