Královo Pole Map Poster & Print
Královo Pole, the King's Field, is a district of Brno north of the historic centre. On the map it looks like a mix of patterns: tight blocks of older apartment buildings near the main avenue, looser housing estates further out, and large institutional sites set among them. Tram tracks and a railway line run through, tying the district to the rest of the city.
The district's best-known building is a former Carthusian monastery founded in the fourteenth century. Its courtyards now house the Faculty of Information Technology of Brno University of Technology, so the medieval cloister shows up on the map as a working campus. Královo Pole is also known for its long industrial tradition in heavy engineering.
A Královo Pole map poster shows a neighbourhood rather than a whole city. That scale suits it, because individual streets, courtyards and green slopes stay legible. The ground rises toward the north and west, and the street pattern bends to follow the terrain. The result is a map with more texture than the district's quiet reputation suggests.

Tram corridor
A main avenue carries trams from central Brno north through the district. The streets on either side form a steady rhythm of city blocks.
Rail and industry
The Brno-Královo Pole station and a stretch of railway cut across the district. Large industrial plots beside the tracks recall the area's engineering past.

Královo Pole is where many Brno students, engineers and families actually live. For them a map of the district means more than a map of the whole city: it shows the tram stop, the faculty and the street they walked every day.
You can set the title and subtitle, add coordinates or a graduation date, and choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint suits the district's technical character particularly well.
