Colonial grid
The town centre is laid out in regular square blocks around a central plaza, a clear, geometric heart for the map.

La Unión Map Poster & Print
La Unión is a municipality in eastern Antioquia, southeast of Medellín, set high in the Andes where the air is cool. Its urban centre follows the Spanish colonial pattern of a regular grid of blocks around a main plaza with a church. On the map that orderly core stands out against the rolling highland, where farm roads curve over hills and between pastures.
The high, cold climate shapes local life. The area is known for farming suited to altitude, especially potatoes and dairy. Seen from above, the countryside is a patchwork of small plots, streams and country lanes, quite different from the dense valleys lower down in Antioquia.
A La Unión map poster captures the contrast between the neat grid of the town and the soft, organic highland around it. The squared-off centre gives the composition a clear focus, while the surrounding roads add movement. It is a calm, balanced print.

Highland plateau
La Unión sits high in the Andes of eastern Antioquia, and its cool climate supports farming quite unlike the valleys below.
Rural patchwork
Beyond the grid, winding roads and small farm plots spread across the hills, giving the edges of the map a softer texture.

For people from La Unión, and for families who left the cool highlands for Medellín or abroad, this grid of blocks is instantly recognisable. It makes a thoughtful gift and a quiet reminder of home.
Change the title, add a subtitle with a date or family name, and edit the coordinates line. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint shows off the geometry of the town grid well.
