Dense old core
The historic centre is a compact network of narrow lanes and closely built plots, the most intricate part of the map and its visual focal point.

Lādwa Map Poster & Print
Lādwa is a town in Kurukshetra district in northern Haryana, set in the flat and intensively farmed plain between the Yamuna and the Punjab border. From above, the old part of town is a tightly packed cluster of lanes, while newer streets extend along the main roads that run out through the surrounding fields.
The town has a place in regional history as the seat of a small Sikh principality in the early nineteenth century, which was annexed by the British in the 1840s. Today it functions as a market town for the villages around it, and the map reflects that role, with roads converging on the centre from several directions.
A Lādwa map poster makes the most of the contrast between density and openness. The historic core appears as a close weave of narrow streets, the outer neighbourhoods are looser, and beyond them the regular geometry of field boundaries and canals takes over. In black and white, that gradient from town to country is easy to read.

Converging roads
Several main roads meet in Lādwa from surrounding towns and villages, including the route toward Kurukshetra, giving the poster clear lines radiating from the centre.
Farmland geometry
Around the town, flat agricultural land is divided into regular plots and crossed by tracks and water channels, a quiet pattern framing the settlement.

For families from Lādwa, including many who now live far from Haryana, a map of the town is a way to keep the place present at home. The dense centre and open fields make an image that feels specific.
Change the title and subtitle to a family name, a neighbourhood or a year, and edit the coordinates line. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, as digital files or a printed poster.
