Marne riverfront
The river curves past the old town with bridges crossing to Thorigny. Its broad line divides the map and gives it a strong, natural axis.

Lagny-sur-Marne Map Poster & Print
Lagny-sur-Marne sits on the left bank of the Marne in Seine-et-Marne, about thirty kilometres east of central Paris. The river is the defining feature of the map. It sweeps past the old town and separates it from Thorigny-sur-Marne on the opposite bank, with bridges linking the two. The medieval core is compact, with narrow streets leading up from the water.
Lagny grew up around a Benedictine abbey and was an important medieval fair town in the Champagne trade network. The abbey church of Notre-Dame-des-Ardents still stands in the centre. Around the historic core, later neighbourhoods and the new towns of Marne-la-Vallée have filled the plateau, creating a clear contrast between old and new street patterns.
A Lagny-sur-Marne map poster captures the river, the old streets and the modern growth around them in one view. It suits people who live along the RER and Transilien lines east of Paris and like the idea of a map of their own town instead of the capital.

Medieval centre
Narrow, irregular streets cluster around the abbey church and the old market squares. They form a dense knot at the heart of the print.
Plateau neighbourhoods
Away from the river, newer residential districts spread over the higher ground. Their more regular layout contrasts with the tangled historic streets.
