Lākheri Map Poster & Print
Lākheri is in Bundi district in south-eastern Rajasthan, in hilly country marked by low ridges and dry plains. On the map, a small, dense town core sits among these rises. Roads and a railway line run through the area in long, straight lines that contrast with the irregular lanes of the older settlement.
The town is known for its cement industry. Lākheri is widely cited as the site of one of India's early cement works, founded in the early twentieth century and still associated with the town today. Industrial sites like this leave a clear mark on a map: large plots, service roads and rail connections next to the residential streets.
A Lākheri map poster brings these layers together: an old bazaar texture, the geometric industrial areas and the rail line connecting them to the rest of the country. In black and white, the town looks like a working place with real history, set in the stony landscape of Hadoti. It suits anyone whose family built their life around the works.

The railway line
A long, straight rail line crosses the area. It links the town to the wider network and makes a strong line across the poster.
Hills around the town
Low ridges and rocky ground surround the settlement. On the map, they appear as empty space that makes the dense town core stand out.

Many families have lived in Lākheri for generations because of the cement works and the railway. A map of its streets is a fitting keepsake for them, whether it hangs in a home in Rajasthan or far away.
