Lugoba is in Tanzania's Pwani Region, inland from the coast north of Dar es Salaam. It is a roadside town, and the map makes that clear right away: the settlement stretches along a main road, with buildings concentrated along both sides and smaller streets running a short way back before giving way to farmland and bush.
