Magugu is a town in Manyara Region in northern Tanzania, in the Babati district. It lies on open plains within the wider Rift Valley landscape, and the main road through the town is the strongest line on the map. Streets branch off it on both sides, with the settlement extending along that road.
Around the town, the land is used for farming, and the map shows a loose pattern of fields and paths reaching into the countryside. Water from the surrounding area supports agriculture here, and the plains make the town's shape easy to read from above.
