Roadside settlement
Homes and small buildings line the main roads in narrow bands. From above they form thread-like strips of detail running through otherwise open farmland.

Malabanban Norte Map Poster & Print
Malabanban Norte is a barangay in Candelaria, in Quezon province, part of the Calabarzon region south-east of Manila. From above, most of the space is rural. Settlement clusters along a small number of roads, and the land between them breaks into irregular parcels. There is no strict grid here. The pattern comes from farms, paths and family compounds.
The area sits on the agricultural lowlands of southern Luzon, where coconut has long shaped the economy and the landscape. On a map this shows up as open space: wide gaps between thin lines, with the occasional creek winding through. Mount Banahaw rises further inland, and the land rises gently in that direction.
A Malabanban Norte map poster is mostly quiet. Short roadside streets branch off the main routes, a few denser pockets mark the barangay centre, and the paper around them stays largely empty. That sparseness is the point. The drawing reads as a small place in a working landscape, laid out plainly in ink.

Agricultural parcels
The land between the roads divides into irregular plots and groves. This gives the drawing a loose, organic texture instead of the geometry of a planned town.
Creeks and drainage
Small watercourses curve across the lowland on their way toward the coast, adding soft, meandering lines that contrast with the straighter roads.
