Refinery grounds
The refinery and petrochemical plants cover broad, ordered plots with internal roads. They form a structured, almost diagrammatic area on the poster.

Manali Map Poster & Print
Manali is part of northern Chennai, a low, flat area not far from the Bay of Bengal coast. From above, it is marked by large industrial plots: the refinery and petrochemical works give it geometric blocks, internal service roads and clusters of circular storage tanks. Around them, residential lanes form a tighter, less regular fabric, and the main roads lead south toward the city centre.
The area is best known as one of Chennai's main petrochemical clusters, built around the refinery that has operated there for decades. That industrial history is visible in the street layout itself. Where most neighbourhoods show a steady texture of small blocks, Manali alternates between wide, sparsely drawn industrial parcels and dense housing, which gives its map an unusual rhythm.
A Manali map poster reads almost like a technical drawing, with long straight roads, large enclosed sites and the fine grain of the streets where people live. It suits anyone who has worked in the area or grew up alongside its industries, and it shows a side of Chennai that tourist maps rarely include.

Residential lanes
Between the industrial sites, housing areas are packed with narrow lanes and small blocks. They add dense, detailed texture to the composition.
Coastal flatland
Manali lies on low ground in northern Chennai, near the coast. The flat terrain lets roads run long and straight across the map.
