Mandi centre
The market town forms a dense cluster of streets and yards. It is the most intricate part of the poster, set against the open plain.

Maur Map Poster & Print
Maur, often called Maur Mandi, lies in Bathinda district in the Malwa region of Punjab. The land around it is completely flat and intensively farmed. From above, Maur is a compact town surrounded by a vast, regular grid of fields, crossed by irrigation canals and straight rural roads.
As its name suggests, the town is a mandi, a grain market, and its layout reflects that role. There are commercial streets and market yards, a railway line and roads that bring in wheat and cotton from the surrounding villages. On the map, the dense town centre stands out sharply against the even rhythm of the farmland.
A Maur map poster shows the landscape of the Punjab breadbasket: canals drawing long straight lines, fields in orderly rectangles, and a working market town at the centre. Its geometric simplicity makes it one of those maps that look best in a large format.

Canal lines
Irrigation canals cross the countryside in long, deliberate lines. They are the most striking engineered features on the map.
Field grid
Around the town, rectangular fields spread in every direction. They produce a quiet, repeating pattern that fills the margins of the sheet.

Punjabi families spread across Canada, the UK and Australia often keep a strong bond with their village or town. A Maur poster is a simple, meaningful way to put that home on the wall.
