Mboro Map Poster & Print
Mboro lies in the Thiès region of Senegal, a short way inland from the Atlantic coast north of Dakar. The map shows a compact town of sandy streets, with its main roads running inland towards the regional network and out towards the coast through open land.
The town sits in the Niayes, a narrow coastal strip of dunes and low, damp hollows where fresh water lies close to the surface. From above, the landscape appears as a pattern of small plots and tracks, since the Niayes are among the most important vegetable-growing areas in the country, supplying markets across Senegal.
Mboro is also close to large phosphate mining and chemical works, whose plant sites and access roads appear on the map as sharp-edged forms among the gardens. A Mboro map poster shows these two sides of the town, agricultural and industrial, drawn together between the dunes and the inland plain.

Towards the coast
Roads and tracks run west through the dunes to the Atlantic shore, where the long, straight coastline forms a clean edge on the wider map.
Industrial sites
Phosphate and chemical works nearby appear as large, geometric parcels, their straight roads contrasting with the irregular garden plots around them.

For families from Mboro or those who have worked in the gardens or the phosphate industry, this map is a reminder of a hardworking place. It makes a good gift for relatives who have moved to Dakar or abroad.
Set the title, subtitle and coordinates line to suit, then choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand reflects the dunes of the Niayes, while Classic gives a crisp, graphic finish.
