Fort on the hill
The fort occupies high ground above the town, and the roads around it bend to follow the slope. That gives the centre of the map an irregular, organic outline instead of straight blocks.

Medak Map Poster & Print
From above, Medak reads as a small, dense town set in the rolling Deccan plateau country of Telangana. Its streets do not follow a grid. They bend around low rises and older lanes, then loosen into scattered plots and field boundaries at the edges. On a map it looks like a tight core with roads leading out toward neighbouring villages, and farmland beyond.
Two landmarks make the town known well beyond the district. The first is Medak Fort, which crowns a hill above the town and is generally linked to the Kakatiya period. The second is Medak Cathedral, a large stone church completed in the 1920s and often described as one of the biggest churches in Asia. Both sit inside the street pattern as distinct, solid anchors.
A Medak map poster keeps the plan of the town rather than its postcards. The winding roads, the denser centre and the thinning edges come through clearly in black and white. The result is a quiet portrait of a district town whose place in the wider story of Telangana is larger than its size suggests.

Cathedral grounds
Medak Cathedral and its compound form a clear open area within the built-up streets. It is one of the most recognisable places in the town and a natural reference point on the poster.
Town meets fields
At the edges, the street network thins into a loose pattern of tracks and plots. The poster shows plainly where the town gives way to the agricultural land of the surrounding district.

Medak is the kind of place people carry with them: a hometown, a family district, a parish remembered from a visit to the cathedral. A map of its streets makes a personal keepsake that doesn't need explaining. It works in a study, a hallway or a gift for someone who has moved away.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with a family name, a wedding date or a year that matters. There are five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Order it as $9 HD digital files, or as a printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
