Kampung lanes
Narrow lanes branch off the main road into village plots and form a loose, organic network across the poster.

Merlimau Map Poster & Print
Merlimau is a town in the Jasin district of Melaka, on the low coastal plain near the Strait of Malacca. The land is flat and green. The map shows a main road running through the town, with kampung lanes branching off into the surrounding estates and villages.
The town is known for the Penghulu's House in Merlimau, a richly decorated traditional Melaka house that is often cited as a fine example of the style. On a map, it sits within a pattern of village plots and winding lanes that still reflects the older settlement around it.
A Merlimau map poster sets the town against its landscape. You see the straight main road, the irregular lanes of the kampungs, the drainage channels crossing the plain and the coastline not far away. It is a gentle, detailed composition, different from the dense grid of Melaka city.
