Mīrānpur is a town in the Muzaffarnagar district of western Uttar Pradesh, on the fertile plain between the Ganges and the Yamuna known as the Doab. The land is almost perfectly flat, and the town is a compact cluster of lanes and markets from which roads lead out to the surrounding villages.
