Mlandizi Map Poster & Print
Mlandizi is in Tanzania's Pwani Region, on the main road running west from Dar es Salaam toward Morogoro. From above, that highway runs through the middle of the town. Shops, markets and houses gather along it, and smaller streets and footpaths lead off into residential areas on either side.
The countryside around it is low, fairly flat coastal hinterland, with small farms, bush and scattered homesteads. The Ruvu River flows through this part of Pwani, and its valley brings wetter ground and denser vegetation to parts of the landscape. On a map, the river's winding line contrasts with the straight highway.
A Mlandizi map poster shows a town defined by movement between the coast and the interior. Its linear shape, set against the open land around it, makes a clean, legible composition. It is a good choice for people who live along this corridor or grew up there and moved to the city.

Informal side streets
Away from the road, streets and paths spread out loosely between houses and plots. They add fine, irregular detail on either side of the main axis.
Coastal hinterland
Low, open country surrounds the town, with river valleys and farmland. On the poster this space frames the built-up strip.
