Planned town centre
The core was designed as a whole in the postwar decades. Straight avenues and evenly spaced residential blocks give the map a regular rhythm that older towns in the region lack.

Novyi Rozdil Map Poster & Print
Novyi Rozdil is a young town by European standards. It was built in the 1950s to house workers for the sulphur deposits in this part of the Lviv region. On a map that origin is easy to see. The streets follow a planned layout of long residential blocks, wide avenues and open courtyards, very different from the winding lanes of older Galician towns nearby.
The Dniester flows close by, and the river valley shapes the edge of the town. The former quarry lands to the south have been partly flooded and reclaimed, so the land around the town looks less even than its centre. Farmland and scattered villages fill the rest of the frame, which gives the town a clear, self-contained outline.
A Novyi Rozdil map poster shows how the whole place was drawn in one go: a planned core, a ring of housing estates and the open country around it. In black and white the regular spacing of the blocks reads almost like a diagram. It suits anyone who grew up among these streets or has family roots in the mining town.

Dniester valley
The river runs near the town. Its meanders and floodplain make a softer, looser line against the orderly street pattern of the settlement.
Former mining land
The sulphur workings that gave the town its reason to exist have left water bodies and uneven ground at the edge of the map, marking where industry once was.

People hang this map because Novyi Rozdil is a town with a clear beginning, and many families moved here to build it. The plan is legible even at poster scale, so it works as a record of a shared place and a particular chapter of the region's life.
You can set your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, adding a family name or the year someone arrived. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint suits the engineered layout especially well.
