Nsunga Map Poster & Print
Nsunga is in the Kagera region of north-western Tanzania, near the Ugandan border and west of Lake Victoria. This is a green, well-watered area of banana gardens, coffee plots and rolling ground, and from above settlements here look less like towns than like dense patches of paths and homesteads.
A few roads carry most of the traffic, and around them a fine web of footpaths connects farms and villages. Streams and wetlands in the low-lying areas show as soft, irregular lines. The built-up parts have no firm edge. They fade gradually into cultivated land.
Kagera's farming is known for bananas and coffee, which grow in household plots around most homes. A Nsunga map poster is a quiet picture of this kind of landscape, where most of the drawing comes from paths and small roads rather than from any urban grid.
