Meeting roads
Several roads converge on the town and give the map a clear radiating structure. They reach out towards neighbouring villages and the wider Lake Victoria basin.

Nyalikungu Map Poster & Print
Nyalikungu is a town in the Simiyu Region of northern Tanzania, in the broad, gently rolling country south-east of Lake Victoria. From above, it is a compact settlement where several roads meet. Its blocks and plots thin out quickly into fields, and small paths and homesteads spread across the surrounding land.
This part of Tanzania is largely agricultural, and the landscape around the town reflects that. The field pattern is irregular, broken by seasonal streams and the occasional low rise. The town serves as a local centre for the farming villages around it, and the roads leading out of it are the clearest lines on the map.
A Nyalikungu map poster captures a place that few printed maps show in detail. Rendered in black and white, the meeting roads form a loose star. The tighter grain of the town centre stands out against the open land, and the result is quiet and uncluttered, well suited to a simple frame.

Town centre
The core of the town has a denser pattern of short streets and plots. It reads as a compact, darker cluster at the centre of the composition.
Open farmland
Beyond the edge of town, the map opens into farmland crossed by footpaths and seasonal watercourses. This gives the poster generous negative space and a calm rhythm.

A map of Nyalikungu is a personal thing. It suits someone who was born there, has family in Simiyu, or spent time working in the region. Having the town's actual layout on the wall says more than a generic picture of Tanzania.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can all be changed, so a name or a date can sit under the map. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. You can download a free watermarked preview before buying.
