Original rail grid
The older blocks near the railway form a compact, square grid at the heart of the map, a clear trace of the town's origins as a railroad stop.

O'Fallon Map Poster & Print
O'Fallon grew up in the nineteenth century around a stop on the railroad through St. Clair County, and took its name from a railroad figure of the era. On today's map, a small grid of older streets near the tracks still marks the original centre, surrounded by later neighbourhoods that spread outward in curving subdivisions across gently rolling Illinois farmland.
Interstate 64 runs through the town, carrying commuters west toward St. Louis, while Scott Air Force Base lies just to the east and shapes much of local life. Parks, sports fields and a network of creeks break up the housing, and the edges of the map show the transition from suburban loops to open fields.
An O'Fallon map poster makes sense for the many people who have lived here only a few years, often on military assignments, and want to keep a clear record of it. The rail-era grid, the interstate curve and the newer subdivisions together tell the story of a small town that became part of the Metro East.

The interstate sweeps across the town in a long, smooth line with broad interchanges, linking O'Fallon to St. Louis and the wider region.
Air base edge
Scott Air Force Base sits just beyond the town to the east, its runways and grounds appearing as a large, open shape at wider framings.

Military families stationed at Scott often move on after a few years, and a map of O'Fallon becomes a way to remember a first home, a school or a neighbourhood. Longtime residents see in it the steady growth of their town.
The title, subtitle and coordinates can all be edited, so a unit, a street or a date of arrival can sit under the map. Choose among five styles, download print-ready PDF and PNG files for $9, or order a framed matte print.
