The palace grounds of the Olowo sit at the centre of the town, and the older street pattern gathers around them in a close, irregular network.

Owo Map Poster & Print
Owo lies in Ondo State in southwestern Nigeria, on undulating ground between forest and savanna. It is one of the old Yoruba kingdoms, ruled by the Olowo, whose palace has long stood at the centre of the town. From above, the city spreads outward from this core, and main roads lead toward Akure, Ikare and the northern parts of the state.
Owo is also known for its artistic heritage. Excavations in the town uncovered terracotta sculptures several centuries old, and its traditions of ivory and wood carving have been widely studied. On the map, the older quarters show as a denser, more irregular web of lanes, while newer districts on the edges follow straighter roads.
An Owo map poster shows the town in layers: the royal centre, the traditional compounds and the modern growth along the highways. The rolling ground bends the roads into soft curves, and in black and white the pattern takes on an almost hand-drawn quality. It is a respectful way to keep a hometown in view.

Highway links
Main roads run out of Owo toward other towns in Ondo State. They form the strongest lines on the map and have guided the growth of newer neighbourhoods.
Rolling terrain
The town sits on uneven ground, so roads curve and branch around rises instead of following a strict grid, giving the poster a natural, flowing outline.

Owo holds deep meaning for its people, from its royal institutions to its artistic past. A map of the town can carry that sense of origin, clear and unadorned, on a wall in Lagos, London or Houston.
Change the title, subtitle and coordinates line to include a family name, a compound or a date. Pick one of five styles, then download the HD files for $9 or order a printed poster on matte paper with an optional wooden frame.
