Hillside terraces
Housing blocks are set on stepped platforms, so the map shows clusters of footprints at different angles rather than a single regular grid.

Pak Tin Estate Map Poster & Print
Pak Tin Estate is a public housing estate in Sham Shui Po District, on the hillside behind Shek Kip Mei in Kowloon. From above, it looks nothing like the flat street grid of old Sham Shui Po a short distance south. Its blocks sit on terraces cut into the slope, and the roads between them wind and double back to climb the gradient.
The map shows tower footprints arranged in clusters, with access roads looping around them and a web of staircases and footpaths filling the gaps. To the north the built-up area gives way to the green slopes that rise toward the Kowloon hills. This meeting of dense housing and open hillside is the main visual story of a Pak Tin Estate map poster.
The estate belongs to the Shek Kip Mei area, where Hong Kong's large-scale public housing programme began after a major squatter fire in 1953. Pak Tin has been rebuilt in phases over the decades, so its layout mixes older and newer blocks. For many residents it is a neighbourhood defined by its hill and its walkways.

Looping access roads
Estate roads curl uphill in hairpins and loops, drawing some of the most expressive curves in the whole Kowloon street pattern.
Edge of the hills
Green slopes border the estate to the north, leaving a large blank area on the poster that makes the dense housing below stand out sharply.

Estates like Pak Tin are where many Hong Kong families grew up, and people often remember them by the shortcuts, stairs and bus stops rather than by any landmark. A map poster records that personal geography in a clean, graphic form.
Add a title in your own words, a subtitle such as a block name or move-in year, and a coordinates line. Pick from Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand to suit a small flat or a larger wall.
