Paso de Carrasco Map Poster & Print
Paso de Carrasco lies just across the Arroyo Carrasco from Montevideo, and on the map the stream draws a clear natural line between the capital and the department of Canelones. The city itself is a fairly regular mesh of residential blocks, broken by main roads that carry traffic between the capital, the coast and the airport.
The international airport serving Montevideo sits beside the city, so a large open area of runways and aprons occupies part of the surrounding map. To the south, the Río de la Plata coast is not far away, and the wooded neighbourhoods of Carrasco begin on the other bank of the arroyo.
A Paso de Carrasco map poster shows a place defined by its edges: water, airfield and highway. In monochrome the winding stream and the straight runways play against each other, while the residential grid fills the space between with a steady, even rhythm.

Airport grounds
Runways and taxiways of the nearby international airport appear as broad, precise shapes, giving the map a large open area of clean geometry.
Residential mesh
Between the main roads, blocks of houses form a regular pattern of small squares, the everyday fabric of a city that grew up beside the capital.

For many travellers Paso de Carrasco is the first place they see in Uruguay, and for residents it is home between capital and coast. A map poster marks either story, whether a first arrival or a family house near the arroyo.
