Phalia Map Poster & Print
Phalia is a town in Mandi Bahauddin district, in northern Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the flat plains between the Jhelum and Chenab rivers. From above, a dense old centre of narrow lanes is surrounded by newer streets, and beyond them lies a wide patchwork of irrigated fields crossed by canals and rural roads.
Local tradition links the name of the town to Bucephalus, the horse of Alexander the Great, said to have died in this region after the battle near the Jhelum. Today Phalia is a local market and administrative centre for the surrounding farming villages.
A Phalia map poster shows a town set within an agricultural landscape. The tight lanes of the centre contrast with the straight canals and field boundaries around it, and roads lead out toward neighbouring towns. It is a clear, grounded composition of a place many families call home.

Rural roads
Roads lead out from the town to nearby villages and towns, forming a simple network across the flat agricultural land.
