Market-town lanes
The centre is a close web of narrow, winding streets that grew over generations. In black and white they become a fine, intricate texture at the heart of the poster.

Pināhat Map Poster & Print
Pināhat lies in the south-east of Agra district in Uttar Pradesh, in the wedge of land between the Yamuna and the Chambal. On a map the town is a dense, irregular cluster of lanes around a central market area, with no grid to speak of. Roads lead out in several directions across a flat patchwork of fields, linking it with the villages around it and with the larger towns of the district.
The defining landscape here lies to the south. The Chambal river has cut a wide belt of ravines into the soft alluvial soil, and on a detailed map this land shows as broken, branching ground. It is a sharp contrast with the smooth, level plain that the town itself stands on. The Chambal is also known for its protected river sanctuary, set up to conserve gharials and other wildlife.
A Pināhat map poster captures the tight weave of an old market town and the open agricultural country around it. Dense lanes turn into fine, intricate linework, while the roads leading out across the plain give the design a clear sense of direction. It is an honest portrait of a working town in the Braj region, drawn from its real streets.

Roads across the plain
Routes run outward across level farmland towards neighbouring villages and district towns, drawing long lines that anchor the compact core in its wider setting.
Towards the Chambal
South of the town the land breaks into the ravine country of the Chambal valley, one of the most distinctive landforms in northern India.
