Airfield runways
The Air Force Academy's runways are long, perfectly straight bars, the most graphic element on the map, next to the town's small blocks.

Pirassununga Map Poster & Print
Pirassununga lies in the interior of São Paulo state, in rolling farm country between Campinas and Ribeirão Preto. The town centre follows the regular grid typical of towns in the region, with a central square and straight streets leading out in every direction.
The most distinctive feature on the map is the Academia da Força Aérea, the Brazilian Air Force Academy, which occupies a large area outside the town with long runways. The Mogi Guaçu River runs to the north, and the waterfall at Cachoeira de Emas is a well-known local sight on its course.
The town is also known across Brazil as the home of Caninha 51, one of the country's best-known cachaças. Sugarcane and citrus fill the surrounding land. A Pirassununga map poster shows the neat grid of the town next to the long, straight shapes of the airfield.

Central grid
Streets meet at right angles around the central square in a regular pattern that prints as an even texture of small squares.
Mogi Guaçu river
The river curves through the countryside north of town, a single natural line against the ordered streets and fields.

Pirassununga is where many Brazilian Air Force officers began their careers, and for their families the map carries that memory. It is also a strong design in its own right, a grid next to runways.
You can put a class year, a name or a date in the title and subtitle, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose from Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint suits the runways.
