Pitt Meadows Map Poster & Print
Pitt Meadows lies east of Vancouver, on low floodplain between the Pitt River and the Fraser. On the map, most of its area is farmland: large rectangular fields, drainage ditches and dikes along the river banks. The town itself is fairly compact, with residential streets and a small centre in the southern part of the municipality.
The land is so low that dikes and pumping stations protect much of it from flooding. The fields are known for blueberries and cranberries, and the flat, open landscape is popular for walking and cycling along the dike trails. The Golden Ears mountains rise to the north-east, and a regional airport sits near the Fraser.
A Pitt Meadows map poster is defined by its rivers and its straight lines. The Pitt and the Fraser frame the area on two sides, while drainage ditches and field boundaries run in a strict grid across the middle. The town appears as a denser cluster in one corner. Printed in one colour, it is a clean, almost diagrammatic image.

Dikes and ditches
Flood dikes follow the river banks, and drainage ditches cut the fields into long rectangles. Together they create a precise, geometric pattern.
Farmland grid
Large blueberry and cranberry fields cover much of the area, giving the map an open, even texture around the smaller town centre.
