Podili Map Poster & Print
Podili is in Prakasam district in Andhra Pradesh, inland from the coastal plain around Ongole. The countryside is drier here, with farmland, scrub and scattered outcrops of rock. The town is a local centre where several roads come together, and its shape on the map reflects that role as a meeting point, not a planned layout.
The centre is dense, with narrow streets and closely packed buildings, and the town becomes looser towards the edges, where houses stand among fields. Irrigation tanks, the reservoirs typical of this part of India, appear on the map as smooth, solid shapes among the fine linework of the streets.
In a Podili map poster, these elements combine into a simple, readable composition. Roads come in from the surrounding villages, a compact core sits where they meet, and open agricultural land fills the space around them. It is an honest portrait of a working town in the Andhra interior, without ornament.

Irrigation tanks
Local reservoirs appear as solid, rounded shapes near the town. They add weight and contrast to the fine pattern of streets and field boundaries.
Dense centre
The oldest part of Podili is a tight cluster of narrow streets. It forms the darkest and most detailed area of the map.

A map of Podili is for people with roots in Prakasam district, including those who have moved to other cities or countries. It shows the familiar crossroads, streets and landscape as a clear, quiet image rather than a photograph.
