Winding lanes
Small roads branch and curve between homes and gardens, forming a fine, irregular network that looks almost hand-drawn in black and white.

Puttankulam Map Poster & Print
Puttankulam lies in southern Kerala, in the Kollam area, in a landscape where town and countryside blend with little clear boundary. From above, it has no grid and no single dense core. Instead, narrow roads and lanes wander between clusters of houses, thick tree cover and small bodies of water, following the gentle rise and fall of the ground.
The name contains kulam, the Malayalam word for a pond or tank, and water is always close in this part of the state: household ponds, paddy fields and, further west, the backwaters and the Arabian Sea coast. Main roads link the settlement with Kollam and neighbouring towns, and they form a few stronger lines through the web of smaller paths.
A Puttankulam map poster turns this organic pattern into a delicate drawing of curves and branching lines rather than straight blocks. It makes a thoughtful gift for Malayali families, for people working in the Gulf or elsewhere who think of home, and for anyone who enjoys the softer, village-like layout of Kerala's semi-urban places.

Ponds and water
Ponds and patches of low, wet ground are scattered across the area. These small shapes of water echo the local name and the importance of water in Kerala life.
Link roads
A few main roads carry traffic toward Kollam and nearby towns. They stand out as firmer lines against the looser lanes of the residential areas.

Many people from this part of Kollam district live far from home. A map of Puttankulam is a quiet reminder of the lane to the family house, the temple or church nearby, and the pond at the end of the road.
Personalise the poster with a title, a subtitle such as a family name, and the coordinates line, then choose one of five styles. The $9 digital files come in six sizes, including A3 and 50×70 cm, with no watermark.
