Rasipuram Map Poster & Print
Rasipuram lies in Namakkal District in Tamil Nadu. From above it is a compact town with a dense centre of narrow streets, a temple area, and main roads leading out towards Salem, Namakkal and nearby villages. Around it, farmland and small water tanks spread across gently rolling land, with hills visible on the horizon.
The town is well known in Tamil Nadu for its ghee and for handloom silk weaving. Its name is also familiar far beyond the region through the novelist R. K. Narayan, whose full name began with Rasipuram, reflecting his family's origins.
A Rasipuram map poster shows a classic South Indian market town layout: a tight weave of streets at the centre, a few strong arterial roads, and a looser pattern of lanes and fields at the edges. It is a small place with a clear, readable shape.
