Repalle lies in coastal Andhra Pradesh, in the Krishna River delta, not far from where the river reaches the Bay of Bengal. The land is flat, low and fertile, watered by the delta's irrigation canals, and is among the main rice-growing areas of the state.
On a map, the town appears as a compact centre of streets and blocks where local roads meet, with a railway line reaching it from the north.
