Central grid
The older part of town follows a fairly regular grid of blocks. It gives the centre of the poster an even, orderly texture.

Ribeira do Pombal Map Poster & Print
Ribeira do Pombal lies in the northeast of Bahia, in the semi-arid interior known as the sertão. From above it looks like a compact, fairly regular town. Streets meet in blocks around a central core, and the built-up area thins out into farmland and scrub. Regional roads come in from several directions. The result is the loose star shape common to market towns in this part of Brazil.
Stay general here, and let the map speak. The layout is practical. A central square and church area sits within a mostly orthogonal grid. Newer neighbourhoods have grown outward along the main roads, and the open land around the town is broken only by farm tracks and small reservoirs. It is the plan of a place that serves the surrounding countryside.
A Ribeira do Pombal map poster suits people who know the town from the inside: its streets, its weekly rhythm, the roads that lead out to family land. Printed in monochrome, the simple grid and the roads fanning out from it make a clear, balanced composition. The empty space around the town reflects the scale of the landscape.

Radiating roads
Regional roads leave the town in several directions. Their long lines extend the composition outward and link it to the surrounding municipalities.
Sertão surroundings
Beyond the last streets, the map opens into farmland and dry scrub crossed by tracks. It is a calm frame around the dense centre.
