Sacavém Map Poster & Print
Sacavém stands on the northern edge of Lisbon, in the municipality of Loures, where the small Trancão river enters the wide Tagus estuary. From above it is a place of edges and crossings. The river mouth and the estuary shore meet here, the northern railway line runs along the water, and motorway approaches lead to the Vasco da Gama Bridge close by.
The town rises gently from the waterfront, with older streets near the river and newer residential blocks on the slopes behind. Across the Trancão, riverside parkland continues toward Parque das Nações, the district built for Expo 98. Sacavém also has a long industrial past. Its ceramics factory was one of the best known in Portugal, and a museum now tells its story.
A Sacavém map poster shows how water, roads and railways define this corner of the Lisbon region. The broad blank of the estuary, the thin line of the Trancão and the dense knot of roads and rails make a picture that is industrial and calm at once. It appeals to residents and to anyone who knows the view north across the water from the Expo district.

Tagus estuary edge
To the east the estuary fills the frame with open water, giving the poster a large calm space against which the dense streets and roads stand out.
Bridge approaches
Motorway ramps and junctions lead toward the Vasco da Gama Bridge, one of the longest in Europe, and draw looping curves across the southern part of the map.

Many people first settled in Sacavém when they moved to Lisbon, and some families have lived beside the factories and the river for generations. A map of it is personal in a quiet way, and it gives proper attention to a place most people only see from a train or motorway.
Replace the title with a street or a family name, add a date in the subtitle, and keep or edit the coordinates. Pick Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The $9 download includes A3, A2 and four other sizes, each as a 300 DPI PNG and a PDF.
