Saint-Raphaël is a commune in Haiti's Nord department, inland from Cap-Haïtien among the mountains of the north. From above, it sits in a valley. The town is a modest grid of streets on fairly level ground, surrounded by hills, and farm tracks and small settlements spread across the slopes around it.
