Selu Map Poster & Print
Selu is a town in the Marathwada region of Maharashtra, set on the broad plateau of the Deccan. The land around it is mostly flat or gently rolling farmland, where cotton, soybean and other crops are grown. On a map, the town is a compact, dense cluster, with open agricultural land stretching away on all sides.
Like many market towns in the region, Selu serves the surrounding villages. Roads lead in from several directions and meet near the centre, where the streets are narrow and closely packed. Newer housing and commercial areas have grown along those roads, giving the town an outline that extends outward in a few directions.
A Selu map poster shows the character of a Deccan market town. The dense core forms a dark knot of lanes, the roads radiate out, and the surrounding fields appear as wide, quiet space. It is an honest portrait of a working town and its countryside.

Radiating roads
Routes to surrounding villages and towns meet in the centre, and newer growth extends along them in several directions.
Deccan farmland
Open cropland surrounds the town on the plateau and leaves a broad white margin around the built-up area.
