Groot Begijnhof
The béguinage appears as a self-contained walled block with its own internal lanes and small plots, a clear enclosed pattern within the surrounding streets.

Sint-Amandsberg Map Poster & Print
Sint-Amandsberg is a district on the eastern side of Ghent, and until 1977 it was a municipality of its own. On a map it reads as a continuation of the city: close-set streets of terraced houses, a few main roads radiating outward, and the railway and water around Dampoort marking its edge toward the old centre.
Two places give the district its identity. The Groot Begijnhof, a nineteenth-century béguinage, forms a walled enclave of small houses, gardens and a church, and belongs to the Flemish béguinages listed by UNESCO. Campo Santo, a cemetery on a small rise, is known for the graves of many Flemish artists and writers.
Seen from above, the fine grain of the residential blocks surrounds these two quieter, distinct shapes. A Sint-Amandsberg map poster is a portrait of a neighbourhood rather than a whole city, and it rewards close looking at the enclosed béguinage plan and the paths of the cemetery.

Campo Santo
The cemetery on its small hill shows up as an open area with ordered paths, one of the few breaks in the district's dense built-up fabric.
Dampoort edge
Railway lines and water near Dampoort mark the boundary toward central Ghent, giving the map a strong linear edge on its western side.

Residents of Sint-Amandsberg often identify with their district as much as with Ghent itself. A map at this scale shows the streets people actually walk, which makes it a meaningful piece for a local home.
