Taleigao Map Poster & Print
Taleigao spreads across the southern outskirts of Panaji, on Tiswadi island in Goa. On a map it has two clear parts: the flat lowland, long used for paddy fields, with roads and houses along its edges, and the raised Taleigao plateau above, where wider roads and institutional campuses sit on open ground. Between them the land rises in a short, noticeable step.
The plateau is home to Goa University, whose large campus is one of the most distinctive shapes on the local map. Nearby lie the Miramar waterfront and the headland at Dona Paula, where the Mandovi and Zuari approach the Arabian Sea. Taleigao sits between these points, a village that has gradually become part of the wider Panaji area.
A Taleigao map poster captures this mix of low fields, suburban streets and plateau-top campus, with the estuaries close to the frame. In black and white the pale open ground contrasts with clusters of streets, and water gives a strong outline at the edges. It is a very Goan composition: green, low-rise and shaped by rivers and the sea.

Lowland fields
The flat ground below the plateau, long used for paddy cultivation, shows as open space fringed by houses and roads, giving the map a soft, spacious centre.
Between two estuaries
Taleigao lies on Tiswadi near where the Mandovi and Zuari rivers meet the sea, so a wider frame brings in water on more than one side of the poster.

A map of Taleigao appeals to people who grew up in the village, studied at Goa University or lived near Panaji and walked the plateau roads in the evening. It recalls a corner of Goa that is quieter than the beaches but closely tied to the water.
