Arabian Sea edge
The coastline runs straight and unbroken along the western side of the frame, giving the poster a strong, simple edge against the open water.

Talikkulam Map Poster & Print
Talikkulam lies on the coast of Thrissur district in central Kerala, on the long narrow strip of land between the Arabian Sea and the backwater channels further inland. On a map the settlement is long rather than round. Houses and lanes are spread through coconut groves, with the beach forming a clean edge to the west.
The main coastal road runs parallel to the shore, and smaller lanes branch from it toward the sea on one side and the water on the other. There is little sense of a dense centre. Instead the area shows the dispersed pattern typical of the Kerala coast, where homesteads fill the land almost continuously.
A Talikkulam map poster frames this as a series of parallel bands: sea, beach, settlement, road and backwater. It is a restful composition and quite unlike a city map, suited to anyone who knows the particular light and rhythm of the Malabar coast.

Parallel bands
Sea, beach, road and inland water run side by side along the coast. This layered structure is the defining feature of the area's layout.
Scattered lanes
Small paths wind between homesteads and coconut groves, forming a loose network that covers the land without a single dense core.

Many Keralites work in the Gulf or further afield, and a map of Talikkulam brings the coast, the lanes and the backwaters back into daily view. It also makes a quiet, personal gift for a housewarming.
You can edit the title, the subtitle and the coordinates line, in English or Malayalam transliteration. There are five styles. Paper and Sand suit the soft coastal landscape, and Noir makes the sea edge especially bold.
