Tamenglong Map Poster & Print
Tamenglong is the headquarters of Tamenglong district in western Manipur, in north-east India. It sits high on a ridge in hilly, forested country, and from above the town is shaped entirely by the terrain: streets follow the line of the ridge, and roads switch back down the slopes.
The district is home largely to Naga communities and is known for its forests, orchids and river valleys, including the Barak, which flows through the region. On the map, the settlement appears as a narrow, elongated cluster, with open space falling away sharply on both sides.
